This vehicle enters the market with supercharger which is borrowed from CR-Z sport hybrid. Honda heard demands for this boosted car, and decided to install this part. However, Honda Performance Development still has problems to modify it, but it seems that we have never been closer to its final market launch. With supercharger, 1.5-liter IMA engine can deliver 197 hp and 176 lb-ft of torque. Suspension and brakes are also improved for better performing. Suspension will be the same lightweight and independent one which could be found in CRX. The HPD Supercharged CR-Z Indy Car will get power through manual gearbox and HPD team developed new air filter system, high-flow injectors and new intercooler.
