Honda Performance Development sector had a whole lot of work before this year’s SEMA show. Many concept and race vehicles were presented, and one of the cars that left best impression is HPD 2015 Honda Fit B-specs. This race car is made for racing, especially for tracks such as SCCA club racing, World Challenge, and Canadian Touring Car B-SPEC rules. This promises interesting 2015 racing season. Many changes have been applied, both interior and exterior. However, familiar look has been kept, with new details, and performance numbers are different than original 2015 Fit has it. This is all thanks to HPD team that presented this hatchback in this variant.
HPD 2015 Honda Fit B-specs – performance
The HPD 2015 Honda Fit B-specs will get few modifications, so output from regular 131 hp-rated Fit will be different. No official information about total rating is available, but we can guess what will be under the hood of this tuned hatchback. It is still in development phase, so it could happen that engineers will turn to other drivetrains. But, B-Specs Fit from SEMA show should get 1.5-l cylinder unit.
Also, HPD team made special air filters, stainless steel cat-back exhaust system and air-conditioning delete belt for the vehicle presented in Las Vegas. That is not all, since Honda Performance Development also added new coil over kit with race springs. Brakes are new, with stainless line set and front pads. Tires are R1 racing from TR Motorsports C1.
HPD 2015 Honda Fit B-specs – styling
Complete design for B-Specs Fit for upcoming year will be different. Especially interior features will be modified for this racing car. Many features have been removed comparing to regular Fit model, but HPD 2015 Honda Fit B-specs is designed in accordance to its use. Vehicle has new seats, which were provided by Sparco.
These racing seats are comfortable and secure, and stability is excellent. Also Schroth driver restraint harness is new addition to 2015 Fit B-Specs, the feature that makes driver securely fastened. From other features we have six-point roll cage for rigidity of the chassis and better protection, and quick-release steering wheel.
