Honda Civic Concept
Japanese manufacturer has big plans for the future. There are several models to be introduced in next period and one of the most important is definitelly the Civic. The current generation of this compact car was the best seling model in U.S. in its class since it was launched in 2011. The Honda Civic Concept of tenth-generation model was presented just recently at the New York International Auto Show and all off us have pretty much the same opinion for this new model. It will definitelly be the most attractive Civic ever made, and if you add to this company’s advanced technologies, there is no doubt that tenth generation of this compact bestseller will continue in the same way as its predecessor, when it is about sales results.
Honda Civic Concept specs
Tenth generation of this compact car will come completely redesigned, and beside fantastic look, it will also feature the most advanced technologies that company achieved so far. The Honda Civic Concept features completely new look, significantly different compared to current model. It is characterized by very aggressive and dynamic styling, with low and wide proportions. Naturally, the most of the car’s spoty character is notable on the front end, where Civic Concept features all-new LED headlights, “Flying H” grille and massive airtakes. New model comes with new platform and first thing that we noticed is longer wheelbase, which will provid not only better comfort inside the cabin, but also better overall performance. Big novelty is also that tenth generation of this popular model will be offered in some new body styles.
Beside current Coupe, Sedan and SI models, it will be also available in hatchback body style, first time since sixth generation. The Honda Civic Concept is also equipped with plenty safety and drive-assist systems such as Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Multy-Angle Rearview Camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Honda LaneWatch and many other. When it is about performances, new Civic will feature perfect balance between power and economy. It will come with new 1.5 liter VTEC Turbo engine, which will have enough power to make extremely fun to drive, but still with excellent fuel economy. When it is transmission, new model will be available with 6-speed manual or Honda’s excellent CVT.
