2017 Honda Accord Sport
During next year new Honda Accord will hit car salons with new look and new features. But, Japanese company is going to offer few attractive variants of their iconic sedan. Beside range-topping Coupe, all fans can expect to see 2017 Honda Accord Sport as a part of offer for next year. Some serious modifications are to be made on exterior, but characteristic look of the vehicle is going to be kept. Sport model has slight changes on body lines, hood and roof, to be more aerodynamic, as well under the hood, where more power is placed.
2017 Honda Accord Sport styling
Although impressive look is synonym for Honda Accord, its Sport version is going to be even more aggressive and attractive. Front is revisited with excellent mix of new grille, bi-xenon headlights and fog lights. Bumper is similar to previous, but it is still refreshed a bit. Same lighting is used on the rear end, and this improvement boosts visibility at night. Special materials are used on its body structure, including more of steel mixes and aluminum. Inside the cabin, 2017 Honda Accord Sport is equally attractive. Seats and dashboard are sportier, and vehicle keeps most of the infotainment features from base Accord. However, we expect navigation to be standard in Sport models.
2017 Honda Accord Sport drivetrain
Although it hasn’t been confirmed yet, seems like 2017 Honda Accord Sport will have different powertrain than the base and Coupe models. While entry-level version uses 2.0-l, to gain more power, Sport trim is using 2.4-l i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine for higher output. Sport model will get around 50 horsepower more than base and Accord Coupe. Transmission are mutual, and it is 8-speed DCT gearbox. There are also some rumors about V6 engine, and we would rather see that powerplant under the hood of Sport model, than to entire lineup.
2017 Honda Accord Sport price
The 2017 Honda Accord Sport will be priced less than Coupe, but slightly more than base model. We expect it to see around $27,000 or little bit higher. Upcoming Accord sedan will be introduced during some of the big car shows during next year, and Sport trim will follow it soon.
