Powertrain for the Natural Gas version of new Civic will stay the same as for 2014 year model. Car will get standard 1.8-l unit. Change is because this model is powered with natural gas. However, outputs are slightly lower than regular model, so 2015 Honda Civic Natural Gas can produce 110 hp and 106 lb-ft of torque. Mileage is highlight of this car. Mated to five-speed transmission system, Civic powered with natural gas can go 27 miles per gallon in city ride, and 38 mpg in open road.
