2015 Honda CB300F

Here comes one more all-new model from Honda. This new boy is addition to already extremely wide line up of Honda motorcycles. It is based on same platform and it has pretty much the same dimensions as CBR. Although it also uses the same engine, this bike has different characteristics. This is a versatile motorcycle with its own attitude.

The biggest difference between this and CBR in look is that 2015 Honda CB300F has naked esthetics. While CBR is full of fairing and windscreen, the 2015 CB300F is a real street warrior. It has pretty much the same naked look as CB500. It is extra-light and has a perfect ergonomics, which makes handling this bike just like piece of cake. On the other side, it also has a decent power so, all in all, we can say that this bike is designed both for beginners and experienced riders. Its weight is only 348 pounds, while wheelbase is same as in CBR – 54.3 inches. Seat height is also same – 30.7 inches, but there is also a possibility to choose a lower and narrower seat if you are shorter than average man. It also features an instrument table which includes analogue tachometer, digital odometer, speedometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge and clock.

The new 2015 Honda CB300F shares the same engine as CBR model. It is a 286 cc liquid-cooled Single. It is a 37 cc enlargement compared to popular entry-level CBR250R. This enlargement is gained thanks to 8 mm longer stroke, which is now 63 mm. The output of this engine is 30 horsepower, while max torque in 20 lb-ft. This engine is paired to 6-speed manual transmission. The CB300F is equipped with 17-inch wheels, while breaks are single 296mm front rotor and a 220 rear single one. Fuel capacity is 3.4 gallons, while claimed fuel efficiency is 71 MPG.

The 2015 Honda CB300F is one more addition to Honda’s already large offer of entry-level motorcycles. Its price is 3.999 dollars and it is available in red color. The toughest rival of 2015 Honda CB300F will probably be Suzuki’s GW250, mostly because of the same price.
