2014 Honda CBR300R

Honda has decided to do similar move like its arch rival Kawasaki. Just like Ninja 250, CBR250 also get a little boost when it is about engine displacement. Not only that new model get bigger engine, it also get a fresh new look which looks pretty much like CBR1000R, just a little smaller. While in North America CBR250 will remain for some time, in Europe and other parts of the world 2014 Honda CBR300R is presented as entry-model of class of superbikes.

Just like its predecessor, 2014 Honda CBR300R will be characterized by excellent riding abilities. With engine enlargement 2014 CBR300R will get an extra low-end torque (CBR250R already had enough of it) which will make this bike even more appropriate for various styles of ride. The engine displacement boost is achieved by increasing the stroke length for 8 mm, and now it is 63 mm which gives new model a new displacement which is now 286 cc.

This maybe doesn’t look like some big enlargement, but it is very important for smooth riding, especially when you go uphill or accelerate out of a corner. Top speed should be should be increased too (CBR250R’s was around 100 mph). When it is about handling, this bike is just excellent. Thanks to its extra lightweight construction and ergonomics, 2014 Honda CBR300R handles just perfectly. With a great bodywork, this bike also does not have any problem with aerodynamics and you will also have enough of fresh air for the engine. The fuel capacity is 3.4 gallons, while estimated average consumption is around 70 mpg.

Compared to CBR250R’s price which starts around 4.200 dollars, 2014 Honda CBR300R will cost a few hundreds of dollars higher. The base model will cost 4.400 dollars, while for the variant with ABS you will have to pay additional 500 dollars. It will be available in Black, Red, Pearl White/Red/Blue, or Matte Black Metallic/Yellow colors and also wide range of additional accessories will be offered. It is expected new Honda CBR300R to go on sale this August.
