2014 Honda CB1000R engine
The 2014 Honda CB1000R weights only 485 pounds and it is equipped with powerful 998 cc liquid-cooled 4-cylinder engine and close ratio six speed transmission, same as CBR1000RR. However, for this occasion this engine is slightly detuned. It sacrifices some of top-end power in order to make this bike more appropriate for traffic ride. This does not mean that 2014 CB1000R is less responsive when you twist the throttle. No it isn’t at all. Moreover, it has much more low-end torque which makes passing easier. Although it is not designed to be economic, this urban fighter also has a decent fuel economy. Average fuel consumption is around 37 mpg.
